Church Vision

Our congregation is made up of families of all ages who share together in a unique blend of Christian Service. “Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ’s law. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.” Galatians 6:2, 10 (The Message)

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, the second person in the Godhead. He was given a human body by the Holy Spirit – Luke 1:35, He is the Word – John 1:1 – 3, He was born of the Virgin Mary. While on Earth, he possessed two natures. He was truly God and truly man. He suffered, was crucified, Dead and buried and rose again on the third day – 1 Corinthians 15:3 – 6. He ascended into Heaven – Acts 1:9, and will return to Earth – Acts 1:11.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity – Genesis 1:2, John 15:26. He is ever present and efficiently active in and with the Church of Jesus Christ, convincing the world of sin, and righteousness and or judgement – John 16:7,8. He makes believers Holy and guides them into all truth as it is inJesus Christ – John 16:13, 14.

The word church is derived from the Greek word, “Ecclesia”. In it’s simplest connotation, it means assembly or body of called  out ones who have separated themselves from the world and are Spiritually reborn, having a living faith in Christ as their Savior – Matthew 16:18, Romans 12:2. The church’s mission is outlined in Matthew 28:18-20 which involves the Preaching of the Gospel with the Aim of winning men and women as Disciples of Christ.

Our Belief

Our nine core beliefs—about God, People, the Church, the Bible, and Christ’s return—are the foundation of this church.

We believe in the Holy Scriptures, we understand to be the sixty -six (66) books of the old and new testament combined, given by Divine inspiration – Peter 1:21, 1 Timothy 3:15-17, revealing the will of God concerning us in all things necessary for Salvation, whatsoever is not contained, or proven therein is not to be enjoined as an article of faith.

“(18) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen”. – Matthew 28:18 – 30 KJV

We believe that there is but one true and living God – Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 4:35, John 4:24, who is spirit. God is one God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – Matthew 28:19, 1 Timothy 3:16, 1 John 5:7, these three are one in substance, differing in office, equal in Power and Glory.

Water Baptism by immersion is an act of obedience to the Word of God as found in Matthew 3:13 – 17. This sacred act follows the individual’s acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and signifies a Spiritual act of death to sin and resurrection to a new life in Christ.

The Lord’s Supper is a Holy Sacrament of the Church which represents Christ’s death and resurrection. The believer partakes the emblems of the wine which represents His blood shed for man whereby man is redeemed. The bread represents His body whereby man is Spiritually nourished – 1 Corinthians 11:23 – 34.

We believe that every man that was ever born will appear before Jesus Christ for Judgment – 2 Corinthians 5:10. There will be two resurrections – one of eternal life for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and who will go to Heaven, and the resurrection of damnation for those who have rejected Christ and who will go to hell – John 5:24 – 29.
